It's not in my possession yet as I had it sent to someone to resaw for me, but check out my Australian Blackwood buttress billet from the OLF group buy (wetted with naphtha)... (Thanks Tim and Shane!)

Oh my goodness, I've been known to look at a nice piece of buttress from time to time. And that is waste wood from Aussie land? or is that a specific harvest from Tim?

What ever it is, it is increadibly beautiful.Rod True38994.754375

Specific harvest I believe. I think all the billets for the OLF buy were from one tree. I could be making that up, though.

Beautiful! That should yield some incredible sets.

Do these jeans make my buttress look big?

Now that is just plain mean to post that. I just have to keep repeating that important commandment - thou shall not covet thy neighbors zoot...thou shall not....

Ok, I am just a weak sinner.

Jon, does your wife know you show off your buttress? And on the internet where everyone and anyone can have a peak at it??

Yes, it is beautiful and it is making many of us jealous, but still...
